Welcome to 365 Things to do in Phoenix!
My name is Jill Segrove, and I’m a REALTOR in the Phoenix metropolitan area. I’ve lived in the Valley for over 35 years and have seen it change and grow dramatically. I put this blog together to help bring information to people who might be looking for something to do in Phoenix.
When we talk about “Phoenix” here in the Valley, we really mean the Phoenix metropolitain area which encompasses the areas to the north including New River and Anthem, to the north and west including Glendale, Peoria, Surprise and Sun City, to the south and west including Buckeye, Avondale and Goodyear, the south which includes Ahwatukee and Maricopa, the southwest area including Tempe, Chandler, Mesa and Gilbert and the east of the Valley which encompasses Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek, Paradise Valley and Fountain Hills.
For those who might want to spend a day seeing some of the many amazing things that Arizona offers a little further outside of Phoenix, you’ll find some day trips here to some really fascinating areas, most of which are accessible from Phoenix in a day or less. What this means is that “365 things to do in Phoenix” might go just a little further afield.
We’re blessed with over 300 days of sunshine here in Phoenix, so there’s a lot to do outdoors. When it gets very hot in the summer, many activities begin earlier in the day, though if you don’t mind the heat, you can find some amazing deals on activities such as golf.
